Switch from Signal to Wire

Signal does not provide a direct export function for contacts. Manually note down or screenshot your important contacts from 'Contacts' within the app.

Visit https://wire.com and click on 'Sign Up'. Follow the prompts to create a new account using your email address or phone number.

Open the Wire app and go to 'Settings' → 'Contacts'. Use the 'Add Contact' feature to manually input your contacts that you exported from Signal.

If you used Signal for email notifications, ensure you set up email forwarding in your email client to capture any missed messages.

For any services that used Signal for login, update your contact information to your new Wire details. Check each service's account settings.

Verify that all important contacts and messages are accessible in Wire. Delete your Signal account by going to 'Settings' → 'Account' → 'Delete Account'.
